Under Secretary Hormats will discuss the National Export Initiative and the State Department's efforts to promote trade as part of the Administration's larger job promotion strategy. Under Secretary Hormats would like to get feedback from regional business and development leaders about what his agency can do to promote exports and job growth. We need your input at this event!
Robert D. Hormats is the Under Secretary for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs and serves as the senior economic official at the State Department. He advises the Secretary of State on international economic policy, and leads the work of the Department on issues ranging from trade, agriculture, and aviation to bilateral relations with America's economic partners.
