Doing Business with China
Is the time right? "You bet!"
The most important trade relationship in the world is between the U. S. and China. When American businesses establish a presence in China, they bring with them global operating standards, company values and "best practices". "Best practices" is a consistent theme that our Chamber of Commerce World Trade Center continues to illustrate by providing an opportunity for metropolitan leaders to participate in a unique Trade Mission to China. U. S companies have always been innovative not only by exporting/importing products and services, but also establishing operating standards, ethical principles and managerial practices that are most effective. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Kansas City businesses, academic and government leaders as well as visit companies in China that have integrated their Chinese company into their worldwide operations.
Travel with business leaders to Shanghai, the country's largest city and most important commercial center with its powerful skyscrapers and modern-day allure and Beijing, the cultural capital city for over seven centuries.
