Lawrence, Kansas has already adopted a no-smoking ordinance. It's a done deal. Listen to what's being proposed, and weigh in with your opinions on the KCMO ordinance while there's still time. A similar city ordinance could be on its way to the city where you live or work! The Chamber Town Hall panel discussion will include Rex Archer, MD, MPH, Director of the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department, and Chuck Eddy Kansas City, Missouri Sixth District City Councilman. In addition, you'll hear from Mid-America Regional Council, an organization that is providing information to assist local officials in evaluating the issue for their own communities. They'll be there. You should be too.
