Ribbon Cutting / Grand Opening –
Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity
Kansas City Ballet will cut the ribbon and officially open its first permanent home, the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity. Located at 500 West Pershing, the seven-studio Bolender Center is in the Union Station Power House building.
At 10:30 a.m. the Michael and Ginger Frost Studio Theatre will be dedicated and audiences will be invited to watch a narrated company class and tour the new facility.
At the Bolender Center the entire Kansas City community can experience the joy of movement through dance and conditioning classes offered through the Kansas City Ballet School’s new Studio Classes. Serious pre-professional ballet students will receive outstanding training through the Ballet’s Academy.
