Rhythm & Ribs: Jazz and Barbecue Festival at 18th & Vine
Announcing a new
Premiering Father's Day weekend, June 17-19, this three day festival features the following:
- Nationally known Jazz, R&B, Gospel and Blues artists
- Two-day barbecue cook-off
- Women's fast-pitch baseball exhibition
- Target Family Pavilion featuring games and interactive entertainment including jugglers, fire-throwers, clowns, characters, face painting, and crafts
- Food and beverage booths for every appetite
- Classic Car display
- Harley-Davidson poker ride to Rhythm & Ribs
- Hand-crafts by area artisans
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is a sponsor of the festival and is pleased to provide Chamber members exclusive discounts to admission and added value to Corporate Pavilions.
Chamber Member Discounted Admission:
Adults - $10.00; 3-day pass - $20.00 (down from $15.00 & $30.00)
Admission:
Children (6 -12) $5.00; 3-day pass - $10.00 (down from $7.50 & $15.00)
Children (5 & under) Free
Discounted tickets for Chamber members may be purchased at the American Jazz Museum ticket desk, 1616 E. 18th St., in advance or during the festival.
Corporate Pavilions
The Pavilions are perfect for a company picnic or entertaining clients.
Located near the main stage, they feature chairs and tables (available in two sizes), and companies are welcome to bring in their own food as long as caterers adhere to established guidelines. Chamber members receive added value by receiving additional tickets and company banners throughout the festival. Details and corporate pavilion order form are outlined on the attached page.
