Morning Schmooze - September 9, 2009

The doors of the Kansas Life Sciences Innovation Center on the Kansas University Medical Center campus opened up in January 2007 and it is a state of the art facility that will benefit our region and the world!  Located at the corner of 39th & Rainbow Boulevard, this five-story facility has changed the skyline of the area.  We have to thank the Kansas University Endowment Association for agreeing to host the Morning Schmooze at this new center.

This is the event for you to meet 150 other Chamber members as you hear a little about the innovative research that is conducted within the walls of this one of a kind facility right here in Kansas City.   Put the business cards in your pocket and your thinking cap on as you network your way around the room. 

PARKING INFORMATION:  The Kansas Life Sciences Innovation Center (KLSIC), is located at the northeast corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Blvd. in Kansas City, KS.  Parking for the facility is available in the Bluff Parking Garage, located directly north of the building.  Additional parking is also available in Lot #90.

To Access the Bluff Parking Garage:  From the stoplight at Rainbow Blvd. and 36th Street, turn east on to 36th Street.  Follow 36th Street to Eaton and turn right (south).  Take your second right turn (west) off Eaton and thru the open security gates of the Bluff Garage.  You will be on the top level of the garage, park in any available space.  Use the walking bridge, located at the southwest corner , to enter the KLSIC.
