A New Year – A New Tax Season
Come one, Come all to the World Headquarters of our own H&R Block located at One H&R Block Way, Corner of 13th & Main, Kansas City, MO.
H & R Block is one of the world's largest tax services providers. Local brothers Henry and Richard Bloch invented the tax preparation business in 1955 right here in Kansas City and the company hasn't stopped perfecting it since. H & R Block utilizes more than 100,000 highly trained tax professionals and prepared more than 24 million tax returns worldwide in 2010. H&R Block reemphasized their long term commitment to our community in 2003 when they decided to build the new World Headquarters in the then depressed downtown. The new facility opened in 2006 and is a very important part of the very active and attractive Sprint Center/Power & Light District.
While you Schmooze around with 150 or so other Chamber members on January 12, you can walk through the Tax Preparation office located right on site at the World Headquarters and enjoy the wide variety of art in and around the main level. There will be Tax professionals available to answer all your tax questions too.
With FREE underground parking available, we will be warm and protected even if Mother Nature throws some cold January weather our way.
