The Art of the Schmooze at
Johnson County Community College
There is no better place than Johnson County Community College to refine both your competitive advantage and your appreciation of the arts. And two of JCCC’s finest institutions, the
Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art and the Center for Business and Technology,
are teamed up to show you the “Art of the Schmooze.”
The Center for Business and Technology at JCCC is the center for all your training needs. Whether you’re an individual looking for leadership and technology training to boost your skills or an organizational leader that needs specially customized training for your team, the center provides training that spans nearly every functional area of a successful business. The center’s expansive array of programs and customized training by expert instructors using quality curriculum are unmatched in meeting the needs of Kansas City's most successful individuals, businesses and organizations.
The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art is an integral part of JCCC. The elegant, minimalist building was designed by architect Kyu Sung Woo and is clad in Kansas limestone. Throughout the museum’s two levels are 10 galleries for temporary exhibitions and the permanent collection. Much of the museum’s permanent collection is comprised of works gifted by Marti and Tony Oppenheimer and the Oppenheimer Brothers Foundation. Art from Johnson County Community College’s Permanent Collection supplement the Oppenheimer Collection on view in the permanent collection galleries.
