Come and discuss economic development, ethics, and earnings tax at the March 19 meeting of The Chamber's Missouri State Affairs Committee at noon in The Chamber's Board Room.
Special legislative guest Representative Tim Flook (R-Liberty) will discuss his position as chair of the House Job Creation and Economic Development Committee and economic development issues affecting the Kansas City region. Representative Flook will also share ethics reform details. (Other legislative guests to be announced.)
Bring your questions and comments on the repeal of the Kansas City earnings tax. City staffer Greg Williams will be on hand to discuss the ramifications the repeal would have on the City. Chamber staff member Jamie Green will fill the committee in on The Chamber's position on this issue.
Finally, look forward to a midterm report on a variety of Chamber issues from lobbyists Nancy Giddens and Shannon Cooper.
