Missouri State Affairs Legislative Hearing 9-15-06

The 2007 Missouri Public Policy Agenda planning meetings have been set for this fall.  This is an excellent time to get involved in Government Relations at The Chamber.  At the agenda planning meetings, Chamber members are invited to present information on their respective business legislative issues.  Presenters explain their issues and ask the committee to approve and adopt particular positions.  Chamber members have the opportunity to weigh in on the issues discussed and help shape the legislative agenda that will be taken to Jefferson City next year.   There are two levels of involvement:

A. Attend any or all of the meetings.  Contact Kathleen  McDowell to make a reservation.  Or you can register online below. It is quick, easy, and secure!

Or.....

B. Present an Issue.  This is the opportunity for Chamber members to present a legislative issue for consideration to be included in the 2007 Public Policy Agenda.   To schedule your presentation for the Missouri State Affairs agenda complete the following two steps:

1. Contact Kathleen McDowell to schedule your presentation.

   Presentations will be scheduled in 10-minute increments. As space is limited, please reply as soon as possible to set your time. 

2. Submit a description of your issue in one page or less.  Kathleen will provide you with the form after scheduling your presentation.     

*Issue descriptions must be received no later than Friday, September 1, 2006.
