Kansas State Affairs Legislative Hearing 10-14

It's time to begin planning for The Chamber's 2006 Public Policy Agenda for Kansas. Don't miss the first Hearing for the coming year's public policy agenda. 

At the agenda hearings, Chamber members are invited to present information on their respective business legislative issues. Presenters explain their issues and ask the committee to approve and adopt particular positions. After review by the governing bodies of the Missouri and Kansas State Affairs committees, the Wrap-Up meeting is held, at which time the committee will review and adopt issues that will be recommended to the Board for inclusion in the 2006 Public Policy Agenda. In developing the agenda, the committee will consider information from the agenda planning meetings, committee member input, and Chamber staff recommendations.  These hearings are open to any member of The Chamber and it is an excellent way to begin involvement with Government Relations at The Chamber. 

2006 Kansas Public Policy Agenda Meetings:

September 14:  Hearing 1  12:00 - 2:00 

October 14: Hearing 2 12:00-2:00

October 28:  Wrap-Up Meeting  12:00 - 1:00
