For over 15 years, the monthly Kansas City Networking Breakfast has been a venue that allows businesses to connect with those who can provide opportunities for them to grow.
It is held the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:15 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel Sports Complex (soon to be Sheraton) located at I-70 and Blue Ridge Cutoff.
In honor of the upcoming Veteran's Day observance, our After Breakfast Session will be "Veteran-Owned Businesses: Patriots and Pioneers". Scott Denniston, Director of the Center for Veterans' Enterprise, Washington, D.C. will be our special guest that day. (See the attached flyer).
Speakers for the November Breakfast (we have room for 2 more Veteran-Owned Small Business speakers) are:
Buddy Clary, Jr. Express Toner Service - Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
John Downs Cutting Edge Solutions, Inc
Kurt Battles Aegis Business Solutions SDVOSB
Harry Siegel HMS Technologies Vets GWAC SDVOSB
Harry Gray State of Missouri - Veterans Representative
Karan Yarbrough Missouri Career Center-Veterans Representative
Cheryl Carpenter Davis Metropolitan Community College
With over 100 people attending each month, the Breakfast offers small, women-owned, minority-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses the opportunity to introduce their business to other small and large businesses, business development organizations, school districts and universities, as well as local, state and federal agencies.
Plan on attending the Breakfast for some great networking, good food, and long-lasting relationships, and stay for contracting information which, though specific to veteran-owned businesses, is relevant to businesses interested in doing business with the Federal government.
On-line registration is available for both the Breakfast and the '"After Breakfast Session" at:
