Grand Opening
K-State Olathe, located just east of Kansas Highway 7 on College Blvd., will bring together K-State’s expertise in animal health and food safety and security. Its first building is the International Animal Health and Food Safety Institute, a $28 million, 108,000-square-foot building that will house research, education and commercialization programs in its laboratories and classrooms.
The day will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 1-1:30 p.m. and an open house for the public from 1-7 p.m.
