GLOBE XIV

The GLOBE program is designed to help you meet these challenges. As a GLOBE participant, you will:

• Receive information and "from the trenches" insight from executives who have successfully navigated the waters of international business.
• Meet local executives and experts eager to support international business development in the Kansas City area.
• Network and share resources with current and past GLOBE participants, and others involved in international business development, including State and Federal government agencies.
• Understand key global business opportunities and issues in the post 9/11 world.
• Develop essential leadership skills for success in international business.
• Develop "fluency" in the cultural issues impacting international business negotiations and conduct.
• Develop increased personal awareness, focus and commitment related to your role in international business development.
• Participate in highly interactive sessions blending international business discussions with global leadership development and training.
• Participate in a Trade Mission to Washington, D.C.
• Participate in an International Trade Mission to the Czech and Slovak Republic.

The GLOBE class meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month.
