Event Description:
The GLOBE program is designed to help you meet these challenges.
As a GLOBE participant, you will:
o Receive information and "from the trenches" insight from
executives who have successfully navigated the waters of
international business.
o Meet local executives and experts eager to support international
business development in the Kansas City area.
o Network and share resources with current and past GLOBE
participants, and others involved in international business
development, including State and Federal government agencies
o Understand key global business opportunities and issues
in the post-9/11 world
o Develop essential leadership skills for success in international
business
o Develop "fluency" in the cultural Issues impacting international
business negotiations and conduct
o Develop increased personal awareness, focus and commitment
related to your role in international business development
o Participate in highly interactive sessions blending international
business discussions with global leadership development
and training
o Participate in a Trade Mission to Washington, D.C.
o Participate in an International Trade Mission to China.
The GLOBE class meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month.
