Event Description:

The GLOBE program is designed to help you meet the challenges of doing business internationally.

As a GLOBE participant, you will:

  • Receive information and "from the trenches" insight from executives who have successfully navigated the waters of international business.
  • Meet local executives and experts eager to support international business development in the Kansas City area.
  • Network and share resources with current and past GLOBE participants, and others involved in international business development, including State and Federal government agencies
  • Understand key global business opportunities and issues in the post-9/11 world
  • Develop essential leadership skills for success in international business
  • Develop "fluency" in the cultural Issues impacting international business negotiations and conduct
  • Develop increased personal awareness, focus and commitment related to your role in international business development
  • Participate in highly interactive sessions blending international business discussions with global leadership developmentand training
  • Participate in a Trade Mission to Washington, D.C.
  • Participate in an International Trade Mission to China.

    The GLOBE class meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month.
