Federal Affairs Meeting with Senator Sam Brownback

We just learned United States Senator Sam Brownback (KS) will be at The Chamber this Monday, August 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the Board Room.  The Senator, a candidate for Governor in Kansas, will be discussing major national issues such as:

• Energy and cap-and trade
• Health care reform
• NBAF
• Proposed relocation of Guantanamo Bay detainees to Fort Leavenworth 

Following the Senator’s remarks, there will be time for questions and comments.

Senator Brownback serves on the Senate Committee on Appropriations; the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources; the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; the Senate Special Committee on Aging; the Joint Economic Committee; and the Helsinki Commission.
