Tiahrt Sets Unprecedented Visit with Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce
Kansas Congressman Todd Tiahrt (4th Congressional District) will, for the first time ever, meet with The Chamber's Federal Affairs Committee and Public Policy Council on Monday, August 24, at 12 Noon, in The Chamber Board Room. The Congressman serves on the important House Appropriations Committee and is Ranking Member on the Labor/HHS/Education Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Defense Subcommittee. Plan to attend this first ever Chamber session with Congressman Tiahrt and discuss issues such as health care reform, the federal budget process and Tiahrt's run for the US Senate.
**Don't forget Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins will meet with The Chamber's Federal Affairs Committee on Friday, September 18th, from 8:30-9:30 a.m., in The Chamber Board Room. Make your reservations for both sessions today.
