Congressman Jerry Moran is scheduled to speak with The Chamber's Federal Affairs Committee on Monday, December 8, at 11 a.m. in The Chamber World Trade Center. He currently serves on the important House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee charged with crafting the new federal transportation bill in 2009. He also serves on the House Agriculture and Veterans Affairs Committees. Congressman Moran is widely expected to run in 2010 for the US Senate seat being vacated by Senator Sam Brownback. As the 111th Congress prepares to address a slew of issues (including a new highway bill) that will have broad impact on businesses throughout our region, this dialog session offers a valuable opportunity to share your concerns and ideas with one of our region's key federal leaders.
