U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver has developed a plan in Kansas City that will potentially improve the environment and create jobs for residents in a 150-block area east of Troost Avenue. Please join us at our upcoming Chamber Environment Committee meeting to learn more about the details of "The Green Impact Zone" and how it might impact Kansas City's environmental quality, transit system, and local businesses. In addition, we will have two separate presentations from Chamber members Tetra Tech and Metropolitan Energy Center. They will be discussing energy and environmental standards within their companies, and how these standards impact their business. This is a great opportunity to learn more about these local companies, and how they might relate to your professional interests.
