"Making Your Environmental Intellectual Property Pay Off." ----------------------------------------------- "Making Your Environmental Intellectual Property Pay Off" The presentation will focus on the protection of one's intellectual property as it relates to products and processes that are directed to protecting or cleaning up the environment. What can be patent protected, the procedure for obtaining a patent and the associated costs. The US Patent Office regulations on expedited review of inventions that are beneficial to the environment will also be discussed. In addition, methods of doing business such as evaluating liability at contaminated sites and investing in brownfields will be covered.
