If you're a business owner or manager of a certain age, you may have encountered the gap that exists in the workplace between Baby Boomers and the members of Generations X and Y who make up much of your workforce.  In some cases, it's more of a canyon than a gap, and the challenges of dealing with these generations' very different work styles, expectations and professional goals can be perplexing.

That's why The Chamber is bringing Charlotte and Laura Shelton, the mother-daughter co-authors of "Generation Next" to our Economic Forum on Thursday, January 17^th at 5:00.  Charlotte Shelton is President & CEO of Unity, and has also served as Chair of the Division of Management & Marketing at Rockhurst University's Helzberg School of Business, run her own consulting company and has decades of experience as a CEO, a consultant, an academic and a business owner.  Laura Shelton now works as a freelance journalist and producer for CBS Newspath, but has also worked as foreign correspondent for Denmark Television and as a reporter, producer and anchor for Fox television affiliates around the nation.
