Nanotechnology is rapidly moving from the engineering lab into the world of startups and business incubators, and that's what our October 16th event is all about. We'll hear from Dr. Shubra Gangopadhyay, LaPierre Chair of Engineering at the University of Missouri -Columbia on what her team is working on and what new applications are on the horizon as the MU prepares to roll out its nanotech research park. Then Dr. Olga Koper, Chief Technology Officer at Nanoscale Corporation from Manhattan, KS, will discuss not only her firm's discoveries, but also how Nanoscale made the leap from university incubator to rapidly expanding startup company.
