India has been fundamentally transformed since it began economic reforms in 1991. It has since grown to a trillion-dollar economy with a largely self-sufficient agricultural sector, a diversified industrial base and a global presence in IT, technology, software and services. It’s a country ripe with opportunities for trade for Kansas City-area firms.
We’ll be providing more information on India on Friday November 4th from 9:00-11:00 in the Chamber’s World Trade Center Conference Room here at Union Station. The Missouri Department of Economic Development’s India Director, Nitin Pangam, will present a comprehensive overview on what you need to know about doing business in the world’s largest democracy and one of its largest consumer markets.
