Colonel Mark “Puck” Mykleby, US Marine Corps, Special Strategic Assistant to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Mykleby has operational experience includingfive deployments (land based and ship borne) to the European, Pacific, and Southwest Asian theaters. He has participated in combat operations in support of Operations PROVIDE PROMISE, DENY FLIGHT, SOUTHERN WATCH, and IRAQI FREEDOM: “We need to raise sustainability up to be our national strategic imperative for the 21st Century.”
Professor David W. Orr, the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics and Special Assistant to the President of Oberlin College, and a James Marsh Professor at the University of Vermont. Recent projects include a two-year, $2.2 million collaborative project to define a 100 days climate action plan for the Obama administration, and his most recent book, Down to the Wire: Confronting Climate Collapse: “Climate change is the ‘perfect problem’ because it is so easy to procrastinate on solutions.”

Bob Berkebile, a founding principal of BNIM Architects with 44 years’ contribution to the architectural profession. Berkebile is the founding chairman of the American Institute of Architects’ National Committee on the Environment (AIA / COTE) and was also instrumental in the formation of the U.S. Green Building Council and its LEED rating system.
