Centurions - October Task Force

Is everything still up to date in Kansas City? What is our metropolitan area doing to make itself a premier tourist destination for pleasure travel and conventions? This task force will provide an overview of the arts and entertainment in Kansas City which affects not only tourism and economic well-being, but also impacts the broader sense of quality community. This task force will address the strengths and weaknesses of our metro area in Arts, Entertainment and Tourism. What have been our previous successes and how can we capitalize on them? What's new on the horizon? Examples may include the growth of Wyandotte County's newest venues, sports in Kansas City, the current expansion of cultural institutions in Kansas City, and the planned expansion of the downtown KC convention center.
