Centurion Information Sessions for Prospective Participants
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's Centurions program hosting information sessions for prospective Centurions to learn about the Centurions program requirements and benefits and meet current Centurions.
Established in 1976, Centurions is a program designed to prepare emerging leaders for their role in shaping the future of Greater Kansas City. During the course of this two-year program, participants will:
-Investigate a variety of key community issues;
-Explore opportunities for action and involvement;
-Gain access to current community and corporate leaders; and
-Participate in a variety of community service projects.
In addition, Centurions participants will gain valuable hands-on leadership experience as part of a dynamic and involved group of individuals from all across the metropolitan area. Membership is open to anyone whose employer is a member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Applicants are selected on the basis of a written application, recommendations, and personal interviews. A company may have only one person at a time participate in the two-year program.
