"Managing a Diverse Workforce" Darryck Dean, Diane Hershberger & Marisa Gray, Kansas City Harmony This interactive workshop will address a manager's need for awareness, knowledge and skills to lead diverse staffs and creative productive work environments, focusing on the importance of their personal awareness, assumptions and subtle expectations about differences. Moving beyond awareness, exploring the need for knowledge about different cultural norms, lifestyle needs and personal preferences of individuals from different groups. Finally, we will address skills needed in the area of management responsibilities to build a productive work team.
