Does your nonprofit want to hire an intern?  Before recruiting a single student, it's important to prepare the entire organization for the experience.  Issues that will be discussed in the workshop include the importance of paid positions, structuring projects for students, and scheduling around an academic calendar.

Amy Mulligan Kennedy is the Education and Member Services Manager for Nonprofit Connect.  Previously, Amy served as the Director of Nonprofit Leadership Studies and American Humanics at Rockhurst University where she advised adn taught undergraduates the theories and principles of nonprofit management and yes, managed interns.
