This seminar will help you learn to better analyze your business and its' real estate needs.  It will also help you better understand the relationship between business and brokers and how sustainable solutions can help your business cut operating costs and improve efficiency. 

 

At the conclusion of this session, participants will:

  • Be able to make better decisions about when and why to hire a commercial real estate broker
  • Have a better understanding of when it's best to lease space vs. owning a building
  • Have knowledge of the financial benefits of sustainable design and overcoming the perception of higher initial construction costs
  • Have an awareness of the many choices that are available for office finishes and how sustainable design can be incorporated into an existing building
  • Know the facts and myths regarding sustainable design

David Zimmer, president of Zimmer Real Estate Services, began his professional career in 1979.  In 1983, he returned to Kansas City and joined Zimmer Real Estate Services.  His primary duties include industrial and commercial real estate brokerage.  David became an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors in 1990 and is now serving as the national SIOR Vice President.
