Retaliation: Employer's Greatest Liability Risk
The U.S. Supreme Court's recently articulated standard broadening the viability of retaliation claims challenges employers to be more attentive to the treatment fo employees whose behaviors fall within "protected activities". This seminar will educate you on how to avoid exposure to this increasing risk of liability.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will:
Learn what is generally described as engagement in protected activity, adverse employment action, and the casual connection between the two
Learn how to determine if a plaintiff was engaged in a protective activity
