Dare to Delegate - A Refresher on Effective Delegation
Presented by Michael Tracy, OMNI Employment Management Services, LLC
February 16, 2011

Great leaders get things done by empowering others. True empowerment means letting go, knowing when and how to move from "doer" to "delegator." Delegation is as much an art as it is a science, but with practice, can be one of the most effective skills a manager can possess.
Learning Objectives:
Define delegation management styles and understand your own
Understanding delegation as an important component to leadership
Address barriers to effective delegation
Understand delegation as a form of conflict and how to overcome issues
