Many managers and supervisors are promoted or hired because of their technical expertise so talking about career development with staff members can be uncomfortable.  And just because no one has helped you isn't a good excuse.  This session provides the differences and how-to's for understanding coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Learning Objectives:
  • Distinguish the differences between coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Understand the benefits and pitfalls of each method of employee development
  • Determine which method is appropriate based on the situation
  • Establish the criteria and expectations to assure a shared responsibility for outcomes
  • Learn the basic how-to's for each method

Marty Stanley is the Founder and President of Dynamic Dialog, Inc.  Marty works with organizations that want a culture of accountability and integrity so they can have increased productivity, increased profitability, and improved morale.

This session will be broadcast simultaneously as a webinar.  Register for the webinar component for $25 and invite your staff to attend at no additional charge.
