Join us on June 1 for the next Arts & Issues luncheon, "15 Years of Shaking Kansas City."   The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary season with Romeo and Juliet, a timeless story of love and passion. Lisa Cordes, the Executive Director of the Shakespeare Festival, has her own story to tell of an organization whose love and passion for a 16th Century bard has entertained and enlightened Kansas City for the last 15 summers. Et tu can be a part of this amazing tale at this month's "Arts & Issues", a program of the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts!

 

Arts & Issues is co-sponsored by the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts, the Central Exchange and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.

"Arts & Issues" is a networking and educational luncheon that is designed to broaden awareness of the arts and cultural history, policies, and issues. Originally a breakfast series known as "Eggs, Issues, & the Arts," the program began in early 2003 and is now one of the Business Committee for the Arts most popular programs.
