The Nelson-Atkins Bloch Building: Personal Reflections by Henry Bloch

 

Join us as we welcome Henry Bloch, co-founder of H&R Block and founder of the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts.  Mr. Bloch will discuss his personal collection, Manet to Matisse: Impressionist Masters from the Marion and Henry Bloch Collection,currently on display at the Nelson-Atkins Bloch Building.  Featuring works by masters such as Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh, the Bloch collection is hailed as one of the premier private collections of French Impressionism.

 

We will also hear from Barbara Head, Manager of Major Gifts, who will discuss the amazing transformations which have made the "new" Nelson-Atkins a world-class destination!

 

Arts & Issues is co-sponsored by the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts, the Central Exchange and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
