At the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, one of Kansas City's premier magnet high schools, instructors use the arts to provide a quality education which emphasizes pre-professional training in the creative, visual and performing arts. At a time when many schools are eliminating arts programming, the academic successes achieved through the Paseo Academy truly demonstrate Plato's theory that "... the patterns of the arts are the key to all learning." Demonstrating their extraordinary artistic achievements, Paseo's five-piece String Quartet will provide a mini concert and several visual artists will exhibit their work.  Please come hear Dennis Walker, Arts Program Administrator, describe this amazing school and introduce yourself to the next generation of Kansas City artists.
