Arts & Issues: Featuring the Lyric Opera of Kansas City

 

Kansas City, MO.,(March 19, 2007) - The stage is set for the Lyric Opera's new production of The End of the Affair and Arts & Issues invites you to be a part of it! The opera, adapted by Jake Heggie from Graham Greene's best-selling novel of the same name, tells the story of grande passion set against the devastation of 1940's London during World War II. Don't miss this opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to stage an opera. Join us for box lunches in an artful environment and get a glimpse of the sights and sounds of the opera from General Director Evan Luskin, Artistic Director Ward Homquist, and Set Designer Keith Brumley.

 

Arts & Issues is co-sponsored by the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts, the Central Exchange and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
