Annual Dinner Meeting-2006

It's The Chamber's big night... 2006 Annual Dinner, when Chamber volunteers and members come together for a night of celebrating our success from the past year. Anne St. Peter of Fleishman-Hillard and Frank Ellis of Swope Community Enterprise return as co-chairs for the event. The legendary comedy troupe Second City will be the evening's entertainment.

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the annual Kansas Citian of the Year award. With the name of the honoree always kept as a tightly guarded secret until its announcement, the award recognizes an individual who has made lasting contributions to Kansas City's business community and civic landscape. Local artist Michael Schonhoff has been selected to design the 2006 award.

In addition, the dinner serves as the ceremonial passing of the gavel from last year's Chairman of the Board to The Chamber's new top volunteer leader. With a guest list of close to 1,500, Annual Dinner is The Chamber's biggest event of the year and the largest annual business gathering in the metropolitan area.
